EL CORAZÓN

El Corazón Café, located in Loreto Bay, Mexico, provides the best food and coffee on this side of the Sea of Cortez. Despite their remote locale, the café continuously impresses patrons with their delicious food offerings. All of their meals and snacks are cooked fresh, in house, with locally sourced ingredients to support Baja ranchers and food producers.

We worked with El Corazón Café to reboot the existing brand identity throughout the restaurant using the image of an anatomical heart or ‘Corazón’ as the symbolic centre of the brand. The heart graphic can also be found in the Lotería card deck, a popular Mexican game of chance, which similar to Bingo. The revived brand suite included, an updated stationery package, exterior and interior signage design, menu design, stickers, a postcard series, a loyalty card program, and packaging concepts for house-roasted coffee beans and flavoured sea salts. The results capture the warmth and soul that El Corazón Café brings to café patrons each day.
